Vladimir holds a specialist degree in Mathematical Methods in Economics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and also studied in Vienna University of Economics and Business. After graduation, he started his career in J.P. Morgan’s Equity research department with focus on the Power and Utilities sector. Afterwards, Vladimir moved on to join an advisory and investment firm Xenon Capital Partners, established by former J.P. Morgan Head of IB in Russia and CIS. At Xenon Vladimir was primarily focused on Energy, Infrastructure and Media sectors and has worked on several international transactions across Russia, CIS and Africa. He was also heavily involved in the portfolio management of Russia's largest power fund with $2bn AUM. Vladimir decided to join the Masters in Finance programme at London Business School to consolidate his practical experience with academic foundation and build up a solid base of fundamentals to underpin his future career. At London Business School, Vladimir sits on Executive Committee of the Finance Club and is also an active member of the Volunteers Club.
