Following his graduation as a Mechanical Engineer from the National University of Ireland, Marcus joined Arup Consulting Engineers in 2004. He spent six years working in Dublin as a building services designer, and worked in the aviation, healthcare, retail, transport and residential sectors. In 2010, Marcus was awarded “Chartered Engineer of the Year” by Engineers Ireland for his four year role in the design and construction of Dublin Airport Terminal 2. Following this, Marcus moved to the UK and joined Red Engineering to pursue a career in data centre design, delivering projects in Europe, Africa and Australia. Marcus recently got married and is enjoying balancing the demands of a top MBA programme with family life. During his time at London Business School, he is serving on the Technology Club Executive Committee and is the Vice President of Events for the LBS Golf Club. Outside work, you can find Marcus scuba diving, playing guitar or travelling.
