After graduating from Universidad del Pacifico with a degree in Economics, Fabricio worked for several years at the international operations department at the Central Bank of Peru. As a research analyst and portfolio manager, he learned about risk management, fixed income portfolios, asset manager selection, as well as the behaviour of institutional investors. While working at the Central Bank of Peru, Fabricio founded and led the finance division of Lima Microfinance Initiative, a non-profit organization that gives managerial training to low-income entrepreneurs.
After earning the CFA and FRM designations, he joined the Masters in Finance programme both to expand his knowledge beyond his current expertise and to increase his international exposure. Outside of work, Fabricio enjoys working for voluntary services and playing tennis and football.
