Maria Angeli (Senior Programme Manager, Masters in Finance) hosted a conversation with part time and full time alumni about their journey on the programme, what their experience looked like and how they used the Career Centre to support their development and goals.

The Career Centre: The Career Centre supports you in your career development during your degree. In this session Christian Dummett, Head of Careers Centre, gave an overview of the services they offer as well as an introduction to how to work with them during your programme.

Fundraising, Investment and Risk in a COVID Environment
Florin Vasvari, Professor of Accounting, hosted a round table discussion with Blair Jacobson (Partner and Co-Head of European Credit in the Ares Credit Group and member of the Management Committee of Ares Management) and Haakon Blakstad (Chief Commercial Officer at Validus Risk Management). They focused on private debt funds in Europe, the risks and opportunities that private debt fund managers face during the COVID crisis and risk mitigation strategies.

The Student Association represents students' interests and concerns, runs social events and supports our clubs. SA officers are elected by, and for, students. Representatives sit on a number of School committees, ensuring student interests are taken into account in any senior management decision process. Each year the SA brings the LBS community together for a series of celebratory events including the multicultural festival Tattoo and the Summer Ball.
