My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Explore my career passion and strike a balance between application and undergraduate degree (study and internships)

About me: Growing up in Beijing, I enjoy innovation, openness and fast learning environment such as that I experienced when studying Economics and Finance at Tsinghua University. During my time there I underwent a semester exchange at National University of Singapore and a one-month assistant research at Harvard University to experience different teaching approaches and cultures. I also have done internships in a securities firm, trust company, non-profit organization and venture lending firm to explore my true interest - social impact. On a less professional note, I have co-founded a student organization to provide video-based voluntary teaching to students in rural areas of China. In my spare time, I love movies and rock musicals as they provide some unique perspectives to think over the life and society.

What I find most attractive about LBS is the diversity it comprises. It's not only about nationalities, but also about people's previous experiences and future ambitions. Talking with students and alumni from different backgrounds has helped me expand my horizons. I would love to help everyone to join in this vibrant community.
