Major: International Business, International Politics
Interested in: Management Consulting, Social Impact
My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Finding the time and appropriate approach to study for the GMAT. Between exchange at Wharton, case competitions and thesis time management was a key challenge.
About me: I grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark. Upon graduating high school, I took a gap year where I worked at Saxo Bank, volunteered in Rwanda, and took economics classes at Harvard University. This eventful year woke my passion for learning about other cultures, and I wanted to pursue this interest in my studies. I graduated with a B.Sc. in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School, during which I was fortunate enough to spend a semester at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton. I was highly involved in student organizations during my degree, and acted as board member for the women in business society with responsibility for speaker relations. I remain very passionate about social equality, and spend my spare time educating myself further on this. Additionally, I adore travelling, especially to places where I can utilize my scuba diving license, or where I can explore cultures different from my own. On the professional side, I have worked at CFA Society Denmark and Maersk Drilling. Additionally, I did an internship with Boston Consulting Group in my sophomore year, from whom I received a return offer. I accepted this offer, and am looking forward to joining BCG upon the completion of MiM.
