Nicola grew up on a sheep farm in outback Australia. After finishing school, she moved to Melbourne to complete her Bachelors of Commerce and Law at the University of Melbourne. She then moved to Sydney, where she spent six years working in investment banking at Macquarie Capital. There she advised technology and media companies on mergers, acquisitions and capital raisings.
Nicola chose to attend London Business School for lots of reasons, including the amazing location in London, the incredible diversity of the cohort in terms of work experience and nationalities, and the unique applied learning opportunities such as LondonCAP and the GBE. Nicola is the co-treasurer of the Women in Business Club and an active member of the Impact Consulting Club. Off-campus she is enjoying exploring the markets, restaurants, parks and galleries around London (trying to stay out of the great shops!), and is loving being able to organise weekend adventures to Europe!
During the MBA Nicola has worked part-time with start-ups in the consumer space and over summer she completed a full time internship with the Strategic Initiatives team at Expedia Partner Solutions.
