Lorenzo Espinosa

Lorenzo holds a BSc+MSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and a MSc in Industrial Technology and Operations from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Before joining London Business School, Lorenzo spent his entire pre-MBA career in the United States. Most recently, he spent two years working for Amazon in Seattle and Chicago.

Lorenzo decided to come to London Business School to be immersed in its highly-accomplished, multicultural student body and experience a world-renowned education in a vibrant city with lots of professional opportunities. Now in his second year of MBA, Lorenzo interned at American Express over the summer working on global digital strategy. Additionally, he has pursued internships in Venture Building and Venture Capital during the academic year. Lorenzo’s post-MBA focus is on innovation and new ventures in the technology sector.

In the LBS community, Lorenzo is part of the executive committee of the Entrepreneurship Club where he organised Launchpad: a programme aimed at incubating business ideas by providing access to start-up mentorship and resources. He is an executive member of the Women in Business Club, leading the Venture Capital initiatives, and the Spanish Club. Lorenzo also mentors early-career students and is involved with the Expedition Club organising a trek to Mt. Kilimanjaro. Beyond LBS-related activities, Lorenzo’s interests include travelling, hiking, triathlon and non-fiction books.
