Dario Lorenzo

Raised in a small village near Naples in Southern Italy, Dario holds a Bachelor in Economics at LUISS University (Rome) and a Master of Science in Management at Bocconi (Milan), enriched with an exchange semester at Nova Business School (Lisbon). Before joining London Business School (LBS), Dario worked in the Investments, Asset & Wealth Management division of the Generali Group, a leading Italian Insurance company that owns the Italian-biggest Asset Manager by AUM. As part of the operations team, he oversaw €550+ bn assets under management and was in charge of implementing strategic projects driven by the investment management business, starting from the economic analysis through the rollout phase and involving all the group subsidiaries worldwide.

Having gained significant work experience and eager to strengthen his financial knowledge as well as his network base, he decided to embark on the LBS Masters in Finance (MiF) programme as his next challenge.

Besides being a MiF Student Ambassador, Dario is also a mentor for the LBS Masters in Financial Analysis (MFA) students as well as the MiF Co-Head in the Women in Business Club. His passions include sports, particularly football, surfing and quash, and music, he has played the drums since he was ten years old.
