My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Preparing for GMAT while working a full-time job, and positioning my undergraduate degree as relevant for LBS

About me: Born and raised in Singapore, I moved to London in 2014 for my undergraduate degree in International Fashion Management at the London College of Fashion (LCF). During my undergraduate studies, I worked in various roles within the fashion industry, including marketing, merchandising, sales and operations for fashion companies, ranging from start-ups to established players in Singapore and London. Highly passionate about sharing my experiences with others, I also founded a placement-year mentoring network at LCF's Fashion Business School. My most recent work experiences include a two-month stint at KPMG in digital consulting and my current role as a jewellery market intelligence analyst. While I really enjoyed focusing on a niche industry that I am passionate about in my undergraduate studies, I wanted to diversify and broaden my knowledge base in an international environment, which was why I chose LBS. The school is also proving to be a great place to explore my interests in consulting, and the retail and digital industries. Outside of school and work, I am a keen foodie, with a great love for London's food markets, and an avid Thai kickboxer.
