Education: BSc in Industrial Engineering, Koc University, Turkey, 2016
Interested in: Investment banking, private equity
My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Studying for GMAT while working full-time
About me: Coming from an engineering degree, I explored finance-related careers through consulting and M&A internships during my undergraduate studies. Upon graduation, I worked at EY Transaction Advisory Services division for 1.5 years. What I liked the most about my work experience was being in a dynamic environment: I was in a new team working with a new client in a new deal every two months. I now would like to be a bigger part of this decision-making process and work in investment banking or private equity. I chose to study at London Business School to accelerate my transition by utilizing the school's inimitable career services. Additionally, the global and talented class at LBS offers an eye-opening experience for me. I really enjoyed being part of an international environment as an exchange student at Copenhagen Business School and as a summer exchange student at LSE, and I am excited to continue working in diverse teams. In my spare time, I work as a UN online volunteer and a TED translator. As a person passionate about giving back to society, I look forward to becoming a part of the LBS society this year!
