My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Balancing time between my undergraduate degree, studying for the GMAT, applications for internships and playing football
About me: I was born in Romania, raised in Canada and have now lived in London for the last 4 years as I pursued my MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. With a passion for technology and a strong desire to learn about the success stories of tech giants, I was given the opportunity to embark on an internship with Rolls Royce in their Future Technologies Group where I was exposed to both the business and research aspects of the company. I was also involved in the research conducted by the Wireless Power Group at Imperial College London to develop a wireless charging system for electric scooters. As I look toward a career in management consulting, I decided that a Masters in Management at London Business School was the perfect step forward. LBS not only allows me to pursue my professional ambitions, but also provides me with excellent opportunities to further my personal interests such as Football, which I have been playing for the past 17 years. I also look forward to interacting with people from various international and cultural backgrounds.
