Faculty Position in Marketing - Assistant Professor

London Business School has one faculty opening in the Marketing subject area. Applicants from all areas of research within marketing will be considered.

The start date for this position is August 2017, by which time candidates are expected to have received their Ph.D.

First-round interviews will take place at the 2016 AMA Summer Educators’ Conference in Atlanta.

Research and Teaching Requirements

London Business School places strong emphasis on both research and teaching quality. Faculty are expected to publish articles in leading academic journals.

Career Progression

The position is tenure track. Decisions about contract renewal and promotion are based on individual performance. London Business School salaries are competitive with those at top US business schools.


The London Business School Marketing Faculty’s research covers a wide range of interrelated topics. Current faculty members include Jonathan Berman, Simona Botti, Rajesh Chandy, David Faro, Bruce Hardie, Oded Koenigsberg, Anja Lambrecht, John Mullins, Nader Tavassoli, Naufel Vilcassim and Rob Waiser.


Candidates will have a PhD, a developed area of research interest and some teaching experience.
