Pobble, an online platform for sharing and celebrating children’s writing from all over the world, was crowned People’s Champion in the 2014 UK Startups Awards. The venture received more than 10,000 votes from all over the world to beat 50 of the UK’s top start-ups to the coveted title.


“The LBS community had a huge part to play in this, so thank you to everyone for their time and support in voting,” said Jon Smith MBA2015, CEO and Co-founder of Pobble. “We were delighted to represent LBS today at such a prestigious event.


“We are going through a really exciting phase after closing our first funding round of expanding the team and rebuilding our web platform. We are pleased to be getting such great recognition of the work we have done to date, but we are incredibly excited to share the new and improved website with our fans in the coming months.”
