Associate Professor of Management Science and Operations

Dr S Alex Yang's research focuses on operations management under financial frictions, including supply chain finance and innovation; managing operations for financially constrained companies; insurance and other tools for supply chain risk management. His other research interests include business analytics, supply chain management, risk management, and stochastic modelling and optimisation.

Dr Yang teaches on the full-time MBA, the global executive MBA, and executive education programmes. He has working and consulting experiences in various companies, including in the finance and airline industries.
