Bob Jenkins

Robert Jenkins is a former banker, fund manager and policy maker. He is currently a professor, board director and public policy advocate. Jenkins headed trading and sales for CitiGroup in Dubai, Bahrain, Switzerland and Japan. He then moved to the "buy side" where he led asset management firms in Tokyo, London and New YorkJenkins chaired the UK's Investment Association, was founding chair of the AQR Asset Management Institute at LBS and Chaired the Board of Governors of CFA Institute. He was an early appointee to the Bank of England's Financial Policy Committee. He has been a member of the UK's Panel on Takeovers and Mergers as well as a number of government high level groups. He has served in an advisory capacity to CVC Capital and as Senior Fellow at Better Markets.

Jenkins is a member of the supervisory board of NN Group, the Dutch-based financial services company. He teaches teaches investment management at London Business School. He is a paid contributor to the Financial Times.

In recognition of his many contributions to the investment profession Jenkins was made a Fellow of the Society of Investment Professionals by the CFA Society, UK.
