Aparna Venkatesan

Guest lecturer of Organisational Behaviour

Dr. Aparna Venkatesan is a Faculty member in Organisational Behaviour at London Business School. She holds a PhD in Work and Organisational Studies, with her doctoral research focused on the UNDP and ILO’s Millennium Development Goal 3, evaluating gender and systemic inequalities in the formal employment sector, particularly in STEM. She also holds a Master's in Management Psychology from the University of Nottingham and a Master's in Management from the University of Bristol. Her teaching portfolio encompasses a wide range of subjects, including Organisational Behaviour, Leadership, and Managing Diversity, delivered at MSc and MBA levels.

As a researcher and practitioner in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Aparna’s research focuses on exploring intersecting inequalities in workplaces and the formal labour market. She employs intersectionality-informed multilevel models to investigate overlapping sources of inequality, while also examining labour market policies and conditions that perpetuate gender and other systemic inequalities.

Before joining London Business School, she was a faculty member at The London School of Economics and Political Science. Her commitment to teaching excellence has been recognised with multiple nominations for Outstanding Teaching and Faculty Awards at LSE. She continues to advance knowledge and foster inclusive environments through both her teaching and research.
