Abstract
After exploring the various options, Peter Boizot finally decided to sell Pizza Express by private auction. In mid-November 1992, Peter was scheduled to meet with the advisers to the company to discuss the final offers that had been short listed prior to making a final decision. Peter found it difficult to compare the different offers and he arranged to meet with his nephew, Matthew Allen, to help evaluate them.
