Abstract
This case examines the decision by the UK subsidiary of Pharma (a Swiss Pharmaceutical company) to develop a new technology for transmitting the drugs through the skin, despite the absence of support from the parent company's R&D lads. The issue facing the managing director of the UK subsidiary is whether to continue with the project in the face of resistance from HQ or stop.
