My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Studying for the CFA while working full-time
About me: Born and raised in Mauritius, I have had a unique upbringing during which sports and nature were omnipresent. I played XV and 7's rugby for the Mauritian national selection and swam at national level. I enjoy all water-sports, however, surfing, kitesurfing and water-skiing remain my favourite activities.
Upon my high school graduation, I decided to pursue further studies in Finance at the Henley Business School in Reading, UK. My undergraduate studies were a memorable experience. I presided the finance, French and Mauritian society and graduated with 'Outstanding contribution to the finance faculty'.
I have had the opportunity to gain work experience in specialised finance, M&A and equity research in London and Mauritius, which confirmed my motivation for a career in Finance. Following the MFA, I intend to start a career in advisory.
I am a member of the Tcch and Media club, Rugby, Africa, PE & VC, Finance and Wine and Spirits club at LBS. I learn daily from the people around me, the school community is truly exceptional and supportive. Do not hesitate to reach out, I look forward to sharing my LBS experience with you.
