Tom was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, where he graduated from university with a bachelors in electrical engineering. Highlights of Tom’s first MBA year included learning about Marketing and Organisational Behaviour, of which he had little experience with prior, the intense personal development the programme brings, and making many life-long friends. In year 2, he will focus on subjects suitable for general management in energy including Leading Teams & Organisations, Energy: Markets, Models & Strategies, and Negotiation & Bargaining.

Post-MBA, Tom’s aim is to lead integration of renewable energy technology and electricity industry reform, maximising the opportunities afforded by disruptive technology.

Tom is an active member of the Energy and Football Clubs, being one of the LBS Football Captains for the men’s team, and is enjoying exploring Europe with his wife during his MBA. He is also a “Manbassador” member of the Women in Business club, actively promoting gender parity in the workplace, and will be leading the logistics of the upcoming 2018 LBS WIB Conference.
