Rocio holds a B.S. in Economics/Econometrics from Louisiana State University. Prior to London Business School, Rocio worked at Goldman Sachs for four years in its New York City office. She began her career as an analyst in the Internal Audit Division, where she covered fixed income, currency and commodities products. She then transitioned to the Investment Banking division, where she worked in Equity Capital Markets, covering Real Estate (e.g. REITs, C-corps, and Towers) with a US focus.
Rocio was drawn to London Business School’s MIF program due to its strong network and reputation, diversity and global focus. She is a recipient of a Masters in Finance Merit Scholarship. She has also been selected Trek Leader for the 2017 New York City Investment Banking Trek.
Rocio is the LGBT ambassador for the MIF and has joined the Out in Business, Women in Business and Real Estate clubs. She spends her free time travelling and exploring London. She is also an admirer of the arts, and is a member of the Friends of Covent Garden of the Royal Opera House and the Young Patrons Circle of the New York City Ballet.
