Rajat holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and has completed a short programme in general management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan and was based out of Mumbai and London. Rajat then moved on to join EY’s Lead Advisory (Corporate Finance) team, advising technology and media clients on M&A and private equity in India and emerging markets. Prior to joining London Business School, Rajat was part of Edelweiss Capital's technology investment banking team, responsible for domestic and cross-border M&A within the technology industry.
Rajat decided to join London Business School to further concrete and broaden his management and financial skillsets, build a global business perspective and expand his network. He was especially attracted to the school’s location, exceptionally talented students and faculty, diversity, and prestigious global reputation and rankings.
In addition to being a Student Ambassador, Rajat is a Vice President of the Finance Club, an Executive Committee Member of the Private Equity/Venture Capital Club, mentor to an Early Career student at LBS and Career Representative for his stream. In his spare time Rajat enjoys travelling, exploring new cuisines and scuba-diving. Currently, he is also learning Salsa at LBS.
