After preclinical medical training at Cambridge University, Nick completed his clinical years at Imperial College London. He developed flexibility and resilience through rotations in both medical and surgical specialities. His sub-specialist focus then turned to urological surgery which he pursued in London and Surrey. Having completed his training he achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and worked as a consultant surgeon at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, with a specific interest in endoscopic surgery and prostate cancer. During his time at London Business School (LBS), he has furthered his corporate and technical knowledge by working in MedTech Consulting at L.E.K. in London.
Nick’s decision to join LBS developed from his interest in medical innovation and devices. His hope is to develop a deeper understanding of the process of device development and funding, as well as insight into healthcare management. He specifically wanted to study at LBS because of its exceptional international reputation, its unique network of corporate partners and its outstanding alumni network.
Nick has been awarded the LBS MSc05 Scholarship, is Chair of Careers for the Healthcare Club, is Social Chair for the Football Club, and is a Peer Leader for Healthcare and MedTech Consulting.
