My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Studying for CFA Level 1 while studying for exams and finding a university that offered relevant programmes that would fit my career plan

About me: Originally from Singapore, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bristol. As an active individual, I was heavily involved in the Christian Union and with various sports teams during my undergraduate studies. During my summer breaks, I did internships for a hedge fund and a single-family office, covering mainly equities and engaging with investment strategies such as index arbitrage and rebalancing— these experiences have made me passionate about investments and the asset management sector. In particular, I saw how strong analytical skills and good knowledge of the markets would have a profound impact in making well-informed investment decisions. My choice to apply for the MFA programme at LBS was due to its quantitative and practical nature. If you want to be part of a diverse community with talented individuals who embrace innovation and collaboration, LBS would be an ideal place to be.
