Nasi grew up in South Africa with parents of Ugandan and Zimbabwean descent. He attended the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg where he obtained Bachelor and Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering. Nasi began his career engineering unmanned aerial vehicles with military and humanitarian aid applications. He then transitioned to developing renewable energy power plants in Africa. Before his MBA at London Business School (LBS), he worked as a sustainable infrastructure investor and developer with an African private equity firm.
Nasi came to LBS to reinforce his commercial and managerial experience with a strong focus on personal and professional development. He is vice-president of special projects for the Africa club and vice-president of the future of tech for the Tech & Media Club. He is a Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholar, social representative, and has active interests in entrepreneurship, social development, and technology.
