Munesh holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi and is a CFA Charter holder. Before joining London Business School (LBS), he worked in corporate and investment banking and in transaction advisory where he helped raise financing for multiple projects in the energy sector, notably in renewable energy. He also worked on various transactions under Public Private Partnership mode in the infrastructure sector. His areas of expertise include transaction structuring, strategy, debt raising and project finance.
Munesh decided to join LBS to deepen his knowledge base in finance by learning from the faculty of thought leaders, broaden his perspective by surrounding himself with students from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and to build lasting relationships within one of the most international cohorts on the planet. He found the applied approach to learning finance at LBS, reflected in practitioner courses with a focus on skill development, appealing as it provides a balanced mix of theory and practice. He also finds LBS’s international outreach through access to a truly global network very empowering. He is a recipient of the Vladimir Vendin Scholarship Award.
In addition to being a Student Ambassador, Munesh is a Masters in Finance Programme Advisor and a member of the Executive Committee of the Energy Club and Global Energy Summit. He enjoys exploring new countries, meeting new people, trekking across mountains, debating, teaching and mentoring.
