My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: My non-business background
About me: I am originally from The Netherlands, where I studied applied physics at the Delft University of Technology. I chose this subject because I was interested in technology, was quite handy with numbers and was looking for a challenge. Although I had no business-related courses in my Physics major, I was increasingly interested in the business world. After having explored this field through internships with Oliver Wyman (consulting), Lincoln International (investment banking) and Gilde Buy Out Partners (private equity), I have decided to further pursue this interest through the Masters in Financial Analysis at LBS. I am still very passionate about technology and hope to use my physics background in my future finance career. I have also studied in various countries (US, Hong Kong and China) and founded the first Student E-sports Association in the Netherlands.
