My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Narrowing down choices among many great Management degrees and balancing application deadlines with a dissertation, final year courses and an internship.
About me: Before I moved to London, I studied Business Administration in Brussels and Edinburgh. During my time at university, I interned in product management & industry development and had the opportunity to join several consulting projects in fintech and retail. I loved being able to solve highly pressing strategic issues and enjoyed a steep learning curve, which ultimately sparked my interest to become a strategy consultant upon graduation.
Prior to my academic career, I spent 3+ years working in aviation. Because I've always been fascinated by that sector, I did a rotational apprenticeship programme at Europe's largest airline in various locations around Germany and China. Outside university I am working part time in the start-up space and as a freelance journalist. I also enjoy travel and landscape photography.
The key reasons why I chose London Business School were that it offers top-ranked programmes at the very heart of where business is done, fosters great long-lasting relationships and nurtures an environment for curiosity & transformation. While your journey to LBS may be overwhelming, it is definitely worth every minute investing in! Feel free to drop me a line if you want to hear more about the student's perspective.
