My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Dedicating time to the application process after work hours
About me: I was born and raised in East London. I’m passionate about the healthcare consulting industry after work experience in a surgeon’s operating theatre, where I observed the operational challenges hospitals face. I furthered this interest on my work placement within PwC’s consulting division, where I helped a hospital under special measure improve its cost savings. During university, I founded and presided over the Actuarial, Mergers and Commercial Awareness society, organising events to improve student employability. Additionally, I volunteered as a tutor and mentor on Team Up’s leadership programme, through which I transformed an ADHD student’s learning progression. I also gained strategy consulting experience with Qconsult, a J.P. Morgan supported programme. Before joining LBS, I was an aggregates analyst at Beazley, a specialist insurance firm. Away from studies and work, I am a football captain in a weekly seven-a-side league. I’m also passionate about charity, having organised a UWT Orphans In Need charity campaign. I’m highly engaged in LBS’s clubs; I am currently improving my case technique with Consulting Club’s crack-a-case platform. Moreover, I am a proactive member of LBS’s Demons Football Club. In November, I will go to Germany as a relay runner representing LBS in WHU’s Euromasters competition.
