In these challenging times, a single thought has the power to make a difference – changing our outlook, sparking inspiration and impacting the lives of others. We’re proud to have supported you – our remarkable alumni – both during your time at LBS and throughout your career, and we’re grateful for the generosity you have shown us time and time again.
With the world facing great uncertainty, coming together as a community has never been more important.
That’s why we’re calling on you to spare a thought and support LBS.
Sharing your experience and advice could provide much-needed reassurance to those anxious about their studies or careers.
With your help, we can continue to fuel the future of our powerfully connected global community, long into the future. Sign up here to support our community and a member of School staff will follow-up with you directly with more details.
Our students continue to be among the brightest and best in business education, and they’re demonstrating incredible ingenuity during these difficult times. If you have any live or upcoming, temporary or permanent opportunities within your own organisation, please let us know.
Our Career Centre continues to support students and alumni with career progression no matter where they’re based. As part of this work, we are creating a series of short ‘Alumni Insights’ films, sharing advice, suggestions and experiences from across our community. If you’re interested in sharing your own story, we’d love to hear from you.

Many students cite interaction with alumni as key in helping them make the decision to study at LBS. The involvement of alumni in the LBS experience through mentoring, informal advice, guest speaking and recruitment is what sets us apart. We’re recruiting alumni speakers for virtual student events and virtual faculty lectures.
Get the chance to participate in a Student-Alumni Matching Project aimed to foster mutually beneficial interactions. Did you go through the 2008 crisis? Current students would love to learn from your experiences. You can also get involved in another study about Covid-19, wellbeing, career aspirations, and belonging. Opportunities for alumni volunteers are not limited to those who studied/graduated during pasts crises. If either of these projects interest you, please let us know.
In the last few months, LBS has met unprecedented challenges head on by prioritising the wellbeing of our global community and the academic progress of our students. We all share the same uncertainty about the coming months. But with your help, we can focus on building a more resilient School that is able to withstand the challenges ahead. A financial contribution will directly support London Business School’s transformative work – helping us shape the future of business education and have a profound impact on the world around us.
If you can help with any of the above, we would love to hear from you. Please provide some brief information and a member of LBS staff will be in touch.

Let’s get you to the right give form. Answer a couple of questions and you’ll soon have contributed to the whole LBS community.
Giving shares is a simple and tax-efficient way of donating to your selected charity or cause. Tax relief is available to UK taxpayers donating shares listed on the UK stock market, the Alternative Investment Market and recognised stock exchanges overseas. It's also available to units in a UK unit trust and shares in a UK open-ended investment company.
Donors can claim income tax relief equal to the market value of the shares on the day the gift is made, plus any associated costs such as the broker's fees. In addition, capital gains tax that you may have incurred on any increase in the value of the shares since you bought them won't apply.
Please contact us at givingshares@london.edu for more information. Pilling and Co acting on behalf of the School will then liaise directly with your broker to ensure the smooth and efficient donation of your gift of shares.

The 1964 Society acknowledges alumni and friends who have pledged to continue the ambition of the Schools founders by recognising LBS in their wills. Our development and success over more than fifty years has been made possible through the support of members of the LBS community, and leaving a legacy gift is the most profound support someone can give. Leaving a legacy is straightforward, either by including the School in a new will or adding a codicil to an existing one. For more information on how to leave a legacy gift to the School please contact Fran Sponsler, Deputy Director of Giving fsponsler@london.edu.
