Rewarding excellence in our alumni community

Alumni Awards recognise and reward personal, professional and academic achievements in our alumni community.

The Alumni Award tradition began in 1991 and through the years has created an excellent opportunity for the School to publicly recognise members of our alumni community who have either excelled in their professional lives, who have achieved entrepreneurial success or who have significantly given back to the School through voluntary service.

You can see the list of previous award winners here.

Award categories

There are currently three categories of alumni awards. These are the Service, Accomplished Entrepreneurs Award and Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) awards.

Service award

The Service award is given to alumni who have made a valuable contribution to the School community through proactive voluntary work such as leading and running a successful alumni club, leading Reunion fundraising and/or class celebration planning, serving as a dedicated class representatives or contributing significant amounts of time and effort as volunteers in other School-related areas such as Admissions or Career Services.

Accomplished Entrepreneurs Award

The School will make two awards in the Entrepreneurship category:

  • Early-stage ventures that have been in existence for approximately five years (preparing to scale).
  • Later-stage ventures that have been operating for around a decade (preparing to exit).

Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) Award

In 2016, we introduced an award to recognise the outstanding achievements of our most recent alumni, the Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) Award. The GOLD Award recognises recent alumni who are having a profound impact in their chosen professional field and are a true inspiration to others.
