What an LBS alumna and student are doing to help Myanmar

Myanmar, formerly known as Burma, has become one of the world’s hot spots for investment.

Following fifty years of oppression and gross human rights abuses – symbolised by the house arrest of opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi – the country is going through a liberalisation process and is open for business.

The only two Burmese students to ever attend London Business School, Thiri Thant Mon MBA2006 and May Thu Khine MBA2018, give their insights into Myanmar’s story and how they have been working to get the country back on its feet at this exciting turning point in its history.
