Leading The Guardian's digital strategy

Tanya Cordrey has become one of the most prominent leaders in the digital landscape since gaining an MBA at London Business School – not bad for someone who started their career using a manual typewriter.

Today, Cordrey is Chief Digital Officer at the Guardian, where she is helping turn the national newspaper into a global media brand. Her first priority when taking on the role was to increase the digital team from 65 to 170 to migrate the Guardian’s website from a UK to a global domain name.   

She discovered her passion for the digital and online world while heading up BabyCentre, a division of ecommerce company eToys. Prior to joining eToys, Cordrey worked as a journalist. Read more.
