Books
We strive to maintain a focused, up to date book stock of around 20,000 books including multiple copies of core texts recommended by faculty available for short loan. Check for titles in the catalogue. New books added to Library stock in the last thirty days can be viewed on our RSS feed.
Journals and newspapers
We hold a print collection of 650 journals (including 200-plus statistical publications) with full text electronic coverage bringing the collection to over 7,000 titles in total. We currently receive 23 newspapers (in hard copy) of which 6 are daily foreign language titles. Other newspapers are available through our electronic resources.
Annual reports
We keep print annual reports for over 10,000 companies with back files for many UK companies back to the 1960s. Our collection includes over 29,000 print reports and over 43,000 reports on fiche. See the SCoRe website for full holdings.
Market research reports
We have both print and electronic versions of Keynote and Euromonitor reports plus a range of other databases that provide market studies such as Business Insights, G.M.I.D. and Forrester.
Working papers
We have a selection of working papers (or discussion papers) from about 30 university departments and research institutes. They are listed on our catalogue. Our own working papers can also be found in our faculty research database.
Reference books
Our print reference collection includes both business specific titles such as company, trade and finance directories and general reference works. We also subscribe to the electronic reference databases Credo Reference and Oxford Reference Online.
Multimedia
Our multimedia collection contains more than 500 individual items. They consist of in-house recordings of visiting speakers or business-related television programmes, plus material purchased from commercial producers. The multimedia collection can be viewed in the Library by current students and staff, but only faculty may borrow from it.
Theses and student reports
PhD Theses by our own students are held in the library. They may not be borrowed. The Masters dissertations are kept for two years and can only be read by our own staff, students and Alumni.
