About the London Classification of Business Studies

Material in the London Business School library is arranged according to the London Classification of Business Studies, one of the few classification schemes and thesauri which cater specifically for business literature and resources.  It is used by a number of UK and international business schools, as well as several corporate libraries and information centres.  The second edition of LCBS was published by Aslib in 1979; subsequently it has been updated and amended by the London Business School.  The most recent version was published in August 2005
