The stage on which London Business School competes to fulfil its Vision of being the 'pre-eminent global business school' is an exciting one filled with immense opportunities for impacting people, companies, economies and communities worldwide.

It is truly exciting to see the recognition which others are giving to our efforts.  The meteoric rise of London Business School in just forty years to best in Europe and top 10 business school in the world (Financial Times) is not without its challenges, however.  And foremost among them is the need to compete now for the best students and best faculty in the world.

As we seek to underpin the School with the financial resources with which to compete at the highest echelon of business education, the following emerge as critical priorities for investment:

  •  Investing in ideas: the ground-breaking thought leadership initiatives and world-class faculty research conducted in centres and institutes of importance to business leadership.

  • Investing in people:  investing in outstanding students via scholarships, bursaries, and fellowships, thereby assuring that qualified students choose London Business School despite the high cost of London living.  Investing in faculty, and particularly the recruitment of world-class faculty through endowed and term chairs.

  • Investing in state-of-the-art facilities:  investing in technology, renovation and new construction which support our mission of excellence and which increase the quality and comfort of the teaching and learning experience.

Now more than ever, we rely on the generous support of alumni (together with that of the graduating class, faculty, corporate and foundation partners, and friends) to strengthen and sustain the London Business School community, both in the classroom and beyond it, to the end of educating the business leaders of tomorrow.

Thank you for your partnership with us in this important endeavour.
