Teaching & assessment
Each course on the London Business School Sloan programme is assessed using some or all of the following tools:
- Individual projects / essays / reports
- Examinations
- Class participation
- Group assignments / reports
- Class presentations
The pass rate for Sloan is normally between 95 and 100 per cent. This can be attributed to London Business School's rigorous admissions criteria and selection processes, as well as the strong support from faculty throughout the programme. Very occasionally, students fail the programme, although the assessment criteria do allow for a single re-sit option for qualifying courses. In addition, some students may not complete the programme or extend their period of completion for extenuating personal or work-related reasons, such as relocation.
London Business School is a graduate school of the University of London and awards University of London degrees. Sloan Fellows graduate with an MSc degree in Leadership and Strategy.
