Admissions
We operate a rolling admissions process, with applications reviewed in the order in which they are received. The sooner you submit your application, the sooner you will receive your final decision.
We strongly recommend that you apply as soon as possible to give yourself time to finalise arrangements with your organisation and, if necessary, to arrange relocation to London.
We will continue to accept applications throughout the summer, however we cannot guarantee that places will still be available at this stage. Once the class is full, we operate a waitlist system with priority given according to the order in which applications are received. Many wait listed candidates are successful in securing a place on the programme, or taking up the option of a secured place for the following year.
Your application will be reviewed when the following items are received by the Sloan and EMBA admissions team:
• Completed online application
- Essays
- Curriculum Vitae
- Organisational chart
• GMAT score certificate
• Two personal reference letters
• Academic transcripts or certificates
• Two passport photos
• Application fee of £120
• TOEFL or IELTS tests if appropriate.
GMAT
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is one of the many criteria we use when assessing an applicant's suitability, since it provides useful information about quantitative and verbal reasoning abilities. It also gives us a useful benchmark to judge applicants across degree subject, academic institution and nationality.
Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) works with Pearson VUE in the administration of the GMAT. For further information about the GMAT and how to register, please visit the GMAT website or contact:

| London Business School Sloan Fellowship GMAT reporting code: Z11-J7-18 |
The average score of our current class is 655. We would normally expect a native English speaker to achieve a score in the 600s.
In addition to the above criteria, we are looking for good references and a thoughtfully completed application form with accompanying essays.
You will need to take TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in the following cases:
- if English is not your first language
- if you have not studied in an English-speaking environment or
- if you have not worked in an English-speaking environment for two or more years
The minimum score for the TOEFL test is normally 627 in the paper test or 270 in the computer based test.
The minimum score for the IELTS test is normally a minimum score of 7.0 overall.
Your language levels are judged on a case by case basis. Please contact the admissions team for further information.
