In a new podcast Sir Andrew Likierman, Professor of Management Practice in Accounting, discusses the challenges facing organisations who want to improve their business by measuring their performance more accurately.

Sir Andrew begins the podcast by explaining the need for organisations to look beyond share price when measuring performance. Increasingly, he adds, this includes issues of corporate social responsibility, although this should not outweigh the main objectives of profitability for the company and its investors.

Sir Andrew cautions that the time gap between actions and results should be taken into consideration when measuring the performance of both companies and individuals.
