Funding Your Course
Students are strongly encouraged to provide as much personal funding as possible through any investments, savings or sponsorship, before approaching any external funding organisations. Much of the external support available will depend on the course you wish to apply for, your mode of study and your nationality or place of residence.
It is essential that you start thinking about how to fund your studies as early as possible. Most of the funding sources have strict deadlines, often several months before your course formally starts. Part time students should be aware that most organisations will only consider providing fee support; you will be expected to cover the living costs yourself.
Contained within the headings below are listings of funds you may wish to apply for. Please be aware these lists are not exhaustive and you are recommended to contact your local banks regarding personal loans, local governments and check if any national funding schemes exist that you can apply for.
The possible sources of funding have been listed on the right of this page and have been split into broad categories for ease of reading.
