Programme details

The ELP is an intensive and challenging experience that will unlock your leadership potential, fast-track your career development and enhance your business impact. The programme focuses on three key themes:

  • Developing self-awareness
How do you see yourself and how do others see you? Developing a critical understanding of yourself and the impact you have on other people is key to becoming effective as you progress in your management career.
  • Building a business skill set
What are the value drivers of your business and what's your contribution to them? At this stage in your career, you need to understand your contribution to the broader strategic objectives of your company and be able to develop innovative solutions that deliver value in your business environment.
  • Delivering results
How do I increase my influence and impact? The less experienced manager tends to succeed though sound technical skills and strong motivation to get the job done themselves. Making the transition to a management role requires a step-change in performance and the ability to make things happen through other people.

In addition to lectures and case studies, the programme offers experiential learning, bringing theory into practice through workshops, team projects and action learning.

To facilitate your understanding of the programme content, you will have the chance to apply your new skills and insights on a practical level back in your workplace. This will involve your participation in:

  • a business simulation in virtual teams, with team members from around the world
  • an action-learning plan tailored to impact your organisation's bottom line.
