Programme details
Studied over 20 months, the Dubai-London Executive MBA provides you with a solid foundation in all areas of business and management, and the flexibility to specialise. The programme format and content have been specifically designed to maximise your programme experience and networking opportunities, whilst allowing you to balance the demands of work, family life and study.
To help Dubai-London EMBA students forge a greater connection with the heart of our School community, the programme commences and finishes in London. You will undertake three modules in London, joining Executive MBA students for orientation, one module mid-programme and a module at the end of the programme. All three shared modules are residential and provide the ideal environment in which to build valuable networks with an extended group of diverse peers.
The programme consists of:
- core courses taught in monthly four or five-day blocks at the Dubai International Financial Centre and one core taught in London
- six to eight electives delivered at the School's London campus and on occasion in Dubai
- an optional individual management report and group study project that challenges you to analyse and resolve a complex business problem
- a choice of week-long international assignments to further broaden your global perspective
- four-day skills module designed to enhance your personal and professional development
- a capstone course to consolidate what you have learnt during the programme.
The Dubai-London Executive MBA offers the same breadth of general management as the full-time MBA programme. Upon graduating, the Dubai-London Executive MBA awards the London Business School MBA degree qualification.
Timetable
The Dubai-London Executive MBA programme has two start dates each year; January and September. The September 2010 intake will now start at the end of August and not September as originally advertised. The sample timetable below shows the schedule for the next class starting August 2010.
The timetable provides dates for Part 1 of the programme only. During the second academic year, students take elective courses. Schedules differ for each student depending on which electives they choose.
