Eighth Annual Trans-Atlantic Doctoral Conference

London Business School hosts the Seventh Annual Trans-Atlantic Doctoral Conference from 15 May – 17 May 2008

London Business School is pleased to announce the 8th Trans-Atlantic Doctoral Conference, following last year's highly successful conference, where around 100 PhD students from top US and European business schools presented their cutting edge work.   The 2008 Conference will be sponsored by:

The Conference has three objectives:

1. to facilitate the exchange of dissertation research ideas on an international level
2. to help prepare PhD students for a successful career within one of the world's top business schools
3. to bring together top-tier PhD students at a professional and social forum.

The Conference will provide you with the opportunity to:

1. Present your work in a relaxed and constructive environment  - with a unique audience of like-minded doctoral students from a variety of top universities
2. Meet London Business School faculty and discuss with them current research ideas, methodologies, and career issues
3. Make informal networks with doctoral students from other top business schools that could lead to collaborative research projects.

Admission

Admission is by invitation only.

Fees and Expenses

• There is no conference fee for participating in the conference
• London Business School will pay for shared accommodation in a nearby hotel
• London Business School will also provide for lunch, dinner, and periodic refreshments during the conference
• Participants will only be responsible for their own travel and incidental expenses.
