Envisioning India's New Landscape
The India Business Forum at London Business School has announced details of its annual conference, entitled 'Envisioning India's New Landscape'.
The ninth student-run forum will be held at the School on Thursday 19 May.
Speakers will include former India petroleum minister Mani Shankar Aiyar and Tata Motors CEO Carl-Peter Forster.
The conference will focus on doing business in and with India, and will examine subjects and issues that will influence the country's future. Panels will discuss financial reforms; consumption, retail and infrastructure as drivers of growth; and globalisation of the Indian industry.
India's economic liberalisation program has now achieved critical mass and is able to generate a momentum on its own. Over the last two decades India has seen a transformation in most aspects of its economy and society.
London Business School professors Julian Birkinshaw and Madan Pillutla will be conducting masterclasses at the conference.
