Innovative Potential: Men and Women in Teams

The Lehman Brothers Centre for Women in Business hosted their third Women in Business Forum at London Business School on Thursday 1 November 2007.

Professor Lynda Gratton, Academic Lead of the Centre, presented the latest research finding that prove that professional teams are at the optimum when made up of 50 per cent men and 50 per cent women.

Katherine Garrett-Cox, Chief Investment Officer, Alliance Trust was the keynote speaker and gave a provocative speech reciting some of her experiences and providing some advice for female executives.

A panel, comprised of Amanda Wallis, Executive Director, American Express; Sej Butler, European Recruitment Manager, IBM Global Business; and Kelly Allison; Google, Strategic Partner Development Manager, gave their insights into the research and participated in a very lively and interactive discussion with the audience.
