Exec Ed. and EMBA placed in the biennial rankings

London Business School's Executive Education and Executive MBA programmes have been placed in the biennial BusinessWeek education ranking.

Executive Education custom programmes ranked number 5 in the world, their highest-ever rating in the survey. Our open enrolment programmes were placed number 6. Open programmes received top scores for Global Business, Leadership and Strategy.

Rory Simpson, Associate Dean for Executive Education comments: “This is a fantastic performance and a testament to the hard work the Executive Education team has  put in over the past year in delivering world-class programmes. We need to build upon this success through increased customer focus and becoming more agile in responding to new and emerging customer needs, as well as innovating and expanding our portfolio of programmes”

The Executive Education 2007 rankings are based on the results of surveys received from directors of leadership and executive development at companies worldwide.

The School’s Executive MBA programme rated number 20. That is an improvement from our number 25 rating in 2005.

Lyn Hoffman, Associate Dean of the EMBA and Sloan programmes, says, “We have an extraordinarily ambitious Executive MBA programme in which we bring together the most diverse group of EMBA students in the world, many of whom commute to London from other major cities in Europe and even from as far away as the United States.  In line with London Business School's  strong commitment to global business education, we offer our EMBAs a powerful portfolio of academically-based international assignments, working with companies in China, India, South Africa and Eastern Europe.  These rigorous, content-based and challenging learning experiences are certainly one of the most popular elements of the programme.”

The Executive MBA programme rankings are based on surveys of EMBA graduates and programme directors. Graduates were surveyed on various measures, including teaching quality, career services, and curriculum. EMBA programme directors were asked to list their top 10 programmes overall.
