London Business School announces Sloan Fellowship Women's Scholarship recipient, Kimberley D. Warden
Kimberley D. Warden, an American attorney and federal lobbyist, has been awarded the 2007/2008 Sloan Fellowship Women’s Scholarship.
Kimberley is the third recipient of this Scholarship, which was established by London Business School in conjunction with Saatchi & Saatchi and Spencer Stuart to increase the number of female students on the leadership program.
Prior to accepting a position on the Sloan Fellowship MSc programme, Kimberley was Vice President of Federal Affairs for the Centre for Responsible Lending in the US. She led the organisation's lobbying team to secure the passage of major legislation in the area of consumer finance.
Other roles of Kimberley’s have included; senior associate at a large US law firm, senior positions in three US Presidential Campaigns, and serving as Counsel to a US Senator.
Throughout her career, Kimberley has become an internationally recognised expert in the sub-prime lending market, which has seen her quoted extensively in many well-known news outlets.
Kimberley said it was a great honour to win the Sloan Fellowship Women’s Scholarship which gives her a unique platform to learn from.
“I am excited about the opportunity to network with a formidable peer group on the Sloan Fellowship programme and I’m particularly enthusiastic about the potential for the Sloan Programme to enable me to add a more international dimension to my career,” she said.
Lyn Hoffman, Associate Dean, Sloan and Executive MBA Programmes, said she was delighted to award Kimberley the prestigious scholarship.

I have no doubt that Kimberley’s leadership qualities and her work experience will be further enhanced by the knowledge she will gain and the global network she will develop on the Sloan Fellowship programme.”
The Sloan Fellowship Women’s Scholarship provides full funding as well as mentoring and career guidance from Spencer Stuart. Previous recipients of the scholarship include Dr Eustina Musvoto, a Zimbabwean engineer, and Sandra Tsao, a corporate lawyer from Singapore.
