This is the first Business Leaders Series event to take place off campus in one of our global locations. Hosted by Professor Andrew Scott this event will feature business leaders from around the region.
Shanghai : 21st Century Financial Capital?
As the Chinese economy grows, the renminbi becomes internationally more critical and China ever more central to global capital flows it is inevitable that Shanghai will grow in importance as a global financial centre. What sort of financial centre will Shanghai become and what areas will it need to provide both globally and domestically? In what areas will this global role first show itself? What barriers will Shanghai have to overcome in order to succeed?
