Institute of Technology

Founded in autumn 2006, the Institute aims to form Europe's leading technology management centre. The Institute operates at the interface of research, education and practice and develops rigorous interdisciplinary research innovative outreach to industry executives and student learning through involvement and participation. The Institute collaborates closely with University College London (UCL) through the Institute's counterpart organisation UCL Advances.

The Institute benefits London Business School by serving as a catalyst to cross-disciplinary, world-class research. The Institute sharpens our teaching and improves the breadth of our programmes as well as deepens the relationship between the School and UCL by connecting our faculty to current edge practice and facilitating the exchange of ideas between faculty, managers, students, technologists and scientists.

Since the launch of the Institute a number of papers have been published in leading journals covering topics from nanotechnology to the use of human embryonic stem cells. In addition cases have been written, including Dr Reddy's Labs, which covers a pharmaceutical company making international acquisitions.
